Disposing of hazardous substances from private households
The disposal of hazardous waste from private households is the responsibility of the public waste disposal authorities.
Hazardous substances include
- Paint strippers,
- Drain cleaners,
- Paints,
- Varnishes,
- Adhesives,
- Alkalis,
- Acids,
- Chemicals such as photographic chemicals,
- Waste oil,
- Pesticides and fertilisers,
- Cleaning agents and detergents,
- Rechargeable batteries, batteries,
- Energy-saving light bulbs and much more,
that you no longer need or that have become unusable.
You obliged to dispose of them separately from household waste.
Responsible department
- if you live in an urban district: the city administration
- if you live in a rural district: the district administration
